Are you an Expert?


Expert FC is a free to play social predictor game made by football fans, for football fans!

You simply predict the outcome of matches from the best football leagues in Europe and can win great prizes on a weekly and monthly basis.

In Expert FC you compete amongst a community of football fans from all over Europe as well as creating your own sub-leagues.

Invite your friends, family and colleagues to compete against one another to see who is the best football expert!

Scoring Points…


Every week, there is a new round of matches to predict in each league. You have to fill in your predictions on a weekly basis to score points and receive the highly prestigious Expert FC badges.
 
To score points, you have to correctly predict the result of the matches.  Each of these potential results (1 - for the home team to win, X – for the draw and 2 – for the away team to win) corresponds to a certain number of points that reflect the odds of that result to happen. In the example below, the player has selected Team A to win and they will score 5 points if Team A win the match.

…and Extra points!


You can also earn extra points in the game by using the following coins:

  • Booster:
    Select this coin and if your prediction on the match is correct then you score double points.
  • No Goals:
    Select this coin for a match you think will finish 0-0 and if you are correct you score an extra10 points.
  • Over 3 Goals:
    Select this coin for a match you think will have over 3 goals and if you are correct you score an extra 3 points.

Don't worry if you have forgotten to make your predictions in the matches. Our 'Automatic Prediction' function will automatically place 'home win' as your selection on any matches that you have forgotten to predict. However, no coins will be automatically placed. Hence you're always better off making your own predictions.

  • Badges


    You can also earn badges that reward your skills and expertise which you can share with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.

  • Play with friends


    Create and join sub-leagues, invite along your friends, family and work colleagues and show everyone that you are a true expert!

FAQ

  • Q1: When does the Expert Football Challenge start?

    A: Expert Football Challenge was launched in August 2011 and the beauty of the game is that there is no real start or stop date as you can win prizes on a weekly and monthly basis throughout the football season.

  • Q2: Can I join after the start date?

    A: Yes.  You can play Expert FC until the last week of the season! The game will be available to play throughout the season, and you can join any of the leagues available at any time.

  • Q3: Can I play and compete for prizes in all leagues available in the game?

    A: Yes.  You can join all six leagues available in the game and compete for the prizes in that league.  However, please note that you are only allowed to win, at a maximum, one of each of the tangible prizes each month (please go to “The General Rules and the Prizes” section of the General Conditions for more information).

  • Q4: Why should I connect using my Facebook or Google account?

    A: If you connect using your Facebook or Google account, you will quickly register to the game without having to go through all the steps of the 'Sign Up' form!

    Using your Facebook account to register will also enable you to get your Facebook profile picture as an avatar.  You can also use all the Facebook functionalities in the game, such as as being able to comment on some pages and compare your weekly ranking with your Facebook friends.

  • Q5: What is the Expert FC twitter account and its #tag?

    A: ‘expert_fc’ is the official account of the game in Twitter.  You can follow the Expert FC and stay tuned with the latest news and tips on your favourite leagues.  The official #tag for the game is #expertfc.  Keep yourself informed with our Twitter promotion campaigns that will take place from time to time!
